Learn to sew from home with our online sewing school
Ami has been running The Stitch School since 2014 with the aim of helping children learn how to sew by hand and how to use a sewing machine. Over 150 children have attended the regular workshops held at Simply Needlecraft in Swadlincote since it began, giving them the opportunity to learn new creative skills and make beautiful fabric craft items in a fully supported environment.
With the current lockdown lifestyle it has now become hard to run our sewing classes in person.

Choose which type of lesson you would like to receive and we’ll send your first pack on the 15th of the month.
You will be given access to video tutorials and live workshops every month so you can complete your project with the full support of Ami at Simply Needlecraft.
In 2017 Ami entered the Stitch school into the festival of quilts and with lots of hard work from the students managed to secure 3rd place! A great achievement for the children involved, some of which had never sewn before joining the stitch school.
